Jeffrey M. Pollock

Jeff Pollock has served as MerchantBanc’s President and Chief Executive Officer since its founding in 1992. He is a Managing Director of MerchantBanc Venture Partners, LP, a limited partnership capitalized with $20 million dollars. Under his leadership, MerchantBanc has been the source of over $140 million in private capital investment in the form of loans and private equity investments in over 100 companies.

Mr. Pollock's board appointments include the National Association of Seed & Venture Funds, the New Hampshire State Board of Education, the New Hampshire Governor's Advisory Committee on Capital Formation, the New Hampshire High Technology Council, the Fleet In-City Advisory Board, and the Steering Committee of e-Cares, a philanthropic initiative of the NH Charitable Foundation involving New Hampshire’s entrepreneurial community. He also serves on the boards of several portfolio companies.

Mr. Pollock holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Purdue University. The U.S. Small Business Administration named him National Financial Services Advocate of the Year for 1999.

Jean R. Gill

Mr. Gill brings more than thirty years of financial and operations expertise to MerchantBanc, LLC. In his ten plus years at MerchantBanc, he has served as a commercial lender, head of small business lending, and currently as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Gill's background in financial operations, bank examination, and retail banking includes experience with the Office of the Comptroller of The Currency, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and sixteen years as a loan officer for a commercial bank. Mr. Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from St. Anselm College.
